studying is making me lose my mind. i spent all of friday by times square for a class on how to write great exam essays. i have 6 to do on the first day and need all the advice i can get. it seems like the examiners, based on the practice questions, are looking to needle us on the fine points while i struggle to get the basics. the next 2 weeks of my life will be a tour de force of awesomeness, i just know it.
at lunch, i stopped by kinokuniya and picked up a book of photographs of japan by shinzo maeda. i can't find many examples of his work online so i'll just offer the suggestion that if you're ever in the photo aisle of bookstore, see if you can find anything by him. his landscapes are spectacular. kinokuniya has quite an impressive selection of photography books. when i get all of this finished, i'll spend some time up there on a rainy day. the new location is a good place to wile away some time.
